In North America, two unique karst landscapes can be found. In south-central Kentucky, lies two of the largest cave systems known in the world. And in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia – one of the greatest carbonate mountain systems in the world.
This site aims to examine the controls on karst landscape evolution, in order to compare these two separate karst environments.
